HOLIDAY, Fla. — Pasco deputies have arrested a Holiday woman for several counts of animal cruelty.

After receiving complaints from neighbors, deputies responded to 2158 Dixie Garden Loop in Holiday on Saturday.

They located a U-haul truck with 37 cats inside the storage compartment, secured with a lock. The cats were caged without food or water, no air conditioning and sitting in their own feces.

Karen Tuttle-Kunnmann, 61, was arrested and charged with 37 counts of animal cruelty.

Deputies assisted in unloading the U-hual to remove the cats. Cats were located under furniture and were also in cages stacked to the roof of the truck.
