BRANDON, Florida — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office released surveillance video showing a man robbing a Brandon-area bank hours after the suspect committed the crime early Monday afternoon.

Investigators said the robbery occurred around 12:02 p.m. at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union location on West Brandon Boulevard. The suspect reportedly gave a note to a teller demanding money and the teller complied.
The suspect then fled the bank through the front doors, headed southeast from the location and climbed over a fence.
No one was injured in the incident.
The video released by the Sheriff's Office shows the suspect was armed and displayed a weapon. He was described as a black man, 5'9", late 20s in age with a thin build, wearing a white t-shirt, an orange safety vest, green cargo pants, black boots with distinctive gold detail, and a wig with dreadlocks.
