ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will be mostly cloudy overnight into early Friday morning with a few passing showers.

  • A chance of showers tonight
  • Rain likely Friday, a few thunderstorms possible
  • Drier and cooler for Saturday

Morning lows will be warmer due to a breezy wind from the south. The lows will mainly be in the upper 60s to low 70s.

It will also feel more humid into Friday as the front approaches.

Expect some showers and a few thunderstorms for Friday as the cold front moves through the region. It will be a breezy day, with highs stopping in the low 80s.

The rain will move out Friday evening with drier air moving in. Expect lows back down in the 60s and 50s for Saturday morning with a nice crisp feel to the air.

Saturday will be cooler and pleasant with highs in the 70s under partly cloudy skies.

The cold front will stall just to our south and then actually start moving back toward us on Sunday. Saturday night will be variably cloudy with lows in the 60s.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and highs in the low 80s.

Next week will feature the front lingering near us, so although it won’t be rainy every day, there will still be some rain chances each day, along with some lingering clouds and higher humidity than we saw this week.

Expect highs each day between Monday and Wednesday to be in the 80s and the lows at night in the 60s to low 70s.
