ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting Friday evening in the 500 block of Hampton Avenue NE.
According to officials, an adult man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of "upper body trauma" and is in critical condition.
Investigators say preliminary indications are the shooting was not a random act.
No further information has been released.
