ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Petersburg Police investigators are seeking help from the public to identify a man killed in a traffic accident earlier this week.

The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14 at the intersection of Madison Circle North and 4th Street North.

Police say a man was trying to cross the road when he was hit by a car. He fell into the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver did stop, but no one knows who the victim is.

Police have released a composite sketch of the individual. He's described as between 60 to 80 years of age, 5'5" tall with white hair and weighing about 180 pounds.

He was wearing an orange shirt the night of the crash and was wearing a silver opal ring and youth Nike shoes, size 5.5.
