ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The evening will continue to be breezy. Temperatures are dropping.

Overnight will stay breezy, especially near the coast.  Lows will drop to the upper 40s in the Nature Coast to upper 50s around Tampa. A few sprinkles will be possible.

Cooler air will continue pushing in Monday with highs staying in the 60s in Tampa to upper 50s for the Nature Coast under partly sunny skies. There will possibly be a few light showers coming in from the Gulf due to the strong northwest wind and lingering upper level energy above.

Tuesday will be chilly with lows in the 40s and highs only in the upper 50s and a breezy north wind. Skies will be partly cloudy with a chance for a morning coastal shower.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the 60s. But morning lows will be near freezing for the Nature Coast, to the low 40s for Tampa.

The air will start the moderating trend back to the 70s next Thursday.

Friday looks like the next chance for rain with a cold front following.
