BROOKSVILLE, Fla -- A man was arrested Saturday for trespassing and fighting a deputy at the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Airport, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrived at the airport after receiving a report about a suspicious person near the runway.
One of the first deputies to arrive at the scene spotted a man walking on the runway. When the deputy tried to take the man into custody, he began fighting with the deputy, according to a news release.
Other deputies arrived and helped the deputy arrest the man without further incident.
Both the deputy and the man were taken to a hospital with minor injuries sustained during the fight.
The man, whose name has not been released, will be transported to the Hernando County Detention Center once he is released from the hospital, the Sheriff's Office said.
