The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is searching for an armed home invasion suspect.

Deputies said an unknown male knocked on the front door of a home on Devonshire Drive in Holiday around 8 p.m. on Jan. 30. 

When the female victim answered the door, deputies said the suspect forced his way inside and demanded cash from the victim.

He also told the woman he had a gun and would shoot her, according to the report. The suspect again told the victim that he was going to shoot her after he tried to shut the door and she started to scream for help. 

The suspect then ran to the passenger side of a dark colored car and fled the scene, the report stated. 

Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. 

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50-year-old, muscular build, and 5'10". Officials said he has salt and pepper hair with a crew cut and was wearing a "valor" jacket and dark jeans.
