Polk County officials are investigating a death after a body was found near an orange grove.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, a man's body was found near an orange grove off Old Bowling Green Road just south of Fort Meade. 

An autopsy will be conducted Tuesday to determine the cause of death and the man's identity. 

No other information has been released.
