A 33-year-old bicyclist was seriously injured Monday morning during a crash in Zephyrhills.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 10 a.m. when a 2014 Dodge Journey struck the bicyclist on Pretty Pond Road, just east of 23rd Street.
Troopers said the 25-year-old female driver of the Dodge struck the bicyclist, Jonathan William Day, 33, who sustained serious injuries and was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
There were no other injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
