Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Friday into Saturday morning, with a look at conditions through mid week next week.

Lines of showers and a few storms are weakening as they come in from the Gulf. The shower chance will continue into the overnight hours as the cold front slows down.

The front will move in later tonight. The Nature Coast will benefit with a little cooler air by morning.

Low temperatures will be in the upper 50s in northern counties and the mid 60s in Tampa Bay.

The front will slow down and stall south of us on Saturday. With the front nearby and moisture lingering, there will be some lingering showers Saturday.

The rain chance is 20 percent, but it will only be slightly cooler.

Saturday afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s, with breezy northeast winds.

Easter Sunday will feature morning temperatures in the mid 50s to mid 60s and afternoon highs in the low 80s. It will be partly sunny. There is a chance of isolated showers Sunday afternoon, mainly inland.

Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s Monday through Wednesday under partly sunny skies. Low temperatures will be in the 60s each day.

Another front will move through Wednesday night. The rain chance will be slim.

Thursday brings us a breezy northeast winds and a slight cool-down.
