HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has solved a 2009 murder case.

Detectives arrested Charles Martinez, 28, Saturday in the death of Victor Martinez, 21. 

Martinez, who is already in jail on charges related to homicides in 2013, is accused of shooting and killing the 21-year-old on Nov. 8, 2009.

Victor Martinez was found dead in the area of Powell Road and Highway 41 South in Gibsonton, Fl. 

Detectives said the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the middle of his back and another gunshot wound to the head. 

Martinez has been charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and grand theft of a motor vehicle.
