Social media can be used for a lot of good things.
In Citrus County, that included reuniting some missing donkeys with their owners.
The Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook that the donkeys were found Monday afternoon on Buelhope Path in Crystal River.
The post was shared several hundred times, and the good news came Wednesday.
"Thanks to everyone for sharing our post so these cute donkeys could be reunited with their family," the Sheriff's Office posted.
