St. Petersburg police are investigating a fatal overnight stabbing.

According to officers a 46-year-old man was found stabbed in an alleyway off of 20th St. S., South of Queensboro Avenue.
He died at the scene.
Police said a woman found walking in the neighborhood was taken into custody as a potential suspect.
Officials have not released any further details.
