TAMPA, Fla. — Buccaneer fans knew their team was playing in one of the NFL's International Series games in 2019.

It turns out the Bucs will travel to London to play one of their closest rivals.

The Bucs will face the Carolina Panthers in the fall in what will be counted as a Buc home game.

According to the team, the game will be played at either Wembley Stadium or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The specific location, date and time will be announced in April.

This will be the third time the Bucs have played a regular-season game outside the United States, all of them in London. Tampa Bay lost 35-7 to New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium in 2009 and 24-18 to the Chicago Bears at that venue in 2011.

The team also played a pre-season game against the New York Jets in Tokyo in 2003.
