WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Here are five things you should know about the Florida Surf Museum in West Palm Beach.

1. The museum houses memorabilia, photographs, and surf boards that document the history of surfing in the state of Florida. 

2. Some of the boards in the museum date back to the 1940s and have come from around the world. 

3. The museum also houses traveling exhibits and hosts seminars on the history of surfing. 

4. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
