PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A new consignment shop in Seminole is selling shoppers unique finds while giving back to local veterans.

  • Consignment Addict located at 8460 Seminole Blvd.
  • Owner was former Marine, works for VA

"Consignment Addict" opened four months ago at 8460 Seminole Boulevard. The owner, Anne Hardenbrook, has always had a dream of opening her own shop.

“I’ve always loved going on a treasure hunt and finding things," said Hardenbrook.

Before fulfilling this dream, she served as a Marine for four years and was stationed in Ohio.  When she returned to Florida, she began working at the VA.

“It was just a blessing to be able to help them, to be there for them," said Hardenbrook.

For 10 years, she worked at the hospital.  But then she began finding items at garage sales, started selling her treasures out of a few locations, and now she has a storefront in Seminole.  Her mission to help fellow veterans continues, as she donates items to the vets and collects monetary donations.

“I do collections here at the store for the VA. Especially if I know they’re looking for something specifically," said Hardenbrook.

The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
