HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that involved a pedestrian in Hillsborough County.
It happened at about 9 p.m. Tuesday on Hillsborough Avenue, east of Golden Drive.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was walking southbound on Hillsborough Avenue and walked into the path of a 2002 Chevrolet Express.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
FHP is working to notify next of kin.
