ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Here's your Tampa-area weather forecast for late Thursday into Friday, with a look at conditions through the weekend and into next week.

Skies will remain clear overnight into early Friday morning.

With a very dry air mass currently in place, temperatures drop a lot during the night, so morning lows will actually be cool, starting in the 40s and 50s.

Friday will be another gorgeous day. After the cool start, we’ll have a very comfortable afternoon with highs in the low 70s.

The northwest breeze will be with us again, but not as strong as it was Thursday. This will, however, make it feel cooler at the beach since it will be coming off the cooler gulf waters.

Skies will remain sunny all day.

Friday's conditions will make for a perfect night out on the town, with clear skies and lows in the 40s and 50s.

Saturday will be another nice day, but slightly warmer with highs into the mid 70s. Some inland areas will reach the upper 70s, and skies will be mostly sunny.

Saturday night will be mostly clear, with lows in the 50s.

Sunday will wrap up the weekend on a nice note with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be a warmer day, with highs around 80.

Monday will be partly cloudy and warm, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80.

A weak front will move through on Tuesday with a few passing showers. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Slightly drier, cooler air will move in behind that front, resulting in highs in the low to mid 70s Wednesday.
