ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Light winds, clear skies and low dew points will allow this evening to cool fairly quickly.

  • Sunday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy
  • Air temps lower at coast
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast ▼

Tonight will be clear and cool with lows again in the 40s north to low 50s in the metro area.

Sunday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs near 80 degrees.  Some high clouds will move across the state.  Dew points will only move up very slightly, so it will not be humid.

Light winds will lead to a sea breeze. Water temperatures are quite low, so air temperatures will be lower at the coast.

Dew points will move up some Sunday night, so low temperatures will be in the low 60s for Tampa Bay to low 50s north.

Monday will continue to be warm with a little more humidity and light southwesterly winds. Highs will be in the upper 70s, with lower temperatures near the coast. Skies will be mostly sunny.

The next cold front will move through on Tuesday. That will only bring us a few passing showers, since the air will still be fairly dry.  Highs will be in the upper 70s with partly cloudy skies.  The front  will be followed by a reinforcing shot of less humid, cooler air for next Wednesday.  Temperatures will only drop slightly, but the humidity will drop nicely.  It will be breezy on Wednesday with northerly winds. Highs will be in the low 70s.

The work week will end dry, with low humidity, but temperatures will be back up to normal again.
