ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will go between partly and mostly cloudy into Tuesday morning.

There will be a few showers that come in from the Gulf of Mexico. The best chance will be when the front moves through Tuesday morning between sunrise and midday. The coverage of showers will be at about 40 percent.

Morning lows will be in the 50s to mid 60s.

Drier air will start moving in Tuesday afternoon with clearing skies.

Winds will turn breezy from the northwest, bringing in another shot of drier, less humid air. High temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 70s.

Tuesday evening will be clear and cooler, with lows in the 50s and even some upper 40s in northern counties.

Wednesday will be a gorgeous day, with highs in the 70s under mostly sunny skies and very low humidity.

Wednesday night will be clear and cool, with lows in the 50s.

Thursday will be nice also, but a little warmer. Highs will be back up around 80.

The warming trend continues with the highs all the way into the mid 80s this weekend.
