HAINES CITY, Fla. — Ernst Cherizard, the suspect in Friday's triple shooting that took three lives, including that for 6-year-old Elizabelle Frenel, turned himself in Sunday afternoon, according to the Haines City Police Department.

Cherizard is expected to face murder charges in the deaths of Elizabelle Frenel, 6; her mother, Eli Jeanie Normil, 23; and Normil’s mother, Nicole Guillume, 48.

The shooting happened before 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Citrus Ridge Apartments. Investigators say Cherizard killed Normil after a fight inside her home. He shot Guillume and Elizabelle later, according to witnesses.

When police arrived Elizabelle was still alive, but she later died at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Family members of the victims that we spoke to did not want to speak on camera. However, they did share with us that Elizabelle, or "Bella," wanted to be a police officer, and Normil was working hard to go to medical school.

The family is still working on plans for a memorial service.
