ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — It will be windy through Saturday.

The strong west winds will create dangerous boating and beach conditions, including a Small Craft Advisory, a High Surf Advisory and a high risk of rip currents in that same time frame.

Some minor coastal flooding is also possible, with tides 1 to 2 feet above normal, especially at times of high tide.

The cold front has moved through the area.

Tonight will be mostly clear to partly cloudy and windy. Lows will be in upper 50s north to low 60s around Tampa Bay.

Saturday will still be windy, with a few lingering scattered showers caused by the upper level trough moving across the area.  It will be cooler and less humid behind the front. Highs will be in the low 70s.

Easter Sunday will be cool in the morning, with most of the area in the 50s. Some 40s are possible in northern counties.

Sunday afternoon will see light winds with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. Humidity will be low.

On Monday, the sunshine will continue. Winds will be light, allowing for a sea breeze. Highs will be in the low 80s, and low humidity continues.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer, with highs in the mid 80s. Light winds will allow for a sea breeze again.

Low humidity continues through at least Thursday.  No rain is expected.
