CLEARWATER, Fla. — Firefighters responded to an early-morning structure fire Wednesday in Clearwater.

According to Clearwater Fire Rescue, the fire broke out at 1471 S. Missouri Avenue, which houses the law offices of Paul Puzzanghera. 

Witnesses reported seeing smoke and flames from the building at 4 a.m. The building sustained damage inside and to portions of the roof. Crews were able to quickly put the fire out but remained on scene for several hours. 

There were no injuries reported.

Clearwater police detectives joined fire inspectors as part of the investigation, which is standard protocol.
