HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested an 18-year-old woman and are searching for more suspects involved in an armed robbery in the Carrollwood area earlier this week.
- Zakiyah Hill, 18, charged in armed home invasion
- Three other suspects, unknown males, sought
- Victim met with Hill to smoke pot when robbed
Detectives said the suspect, Zakiyah Hill, 18, met with the victim on Wednesday at an apartment in the area of Orange Grove Drive and Stall Road to smoke marijuana. That's when authorities say three unknown males forced their way into the apartment and robbed the victim at gunpoint.
At one point, a shot was fired inside the apartment by one of the suspects, however, no was struck.
The following day, detectives were able to identify Hill as one of the suspects and charged her with grand theft of $300 - $5000, armed burglary of a dwelling, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and robbery home invasion.
The sheriff's office is still searching for the other three suspects involved.
