OLDSMAR, Fla. — Authorities are investigating an overnight death after a man was found dead in an Oldsmar home.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a home in the 3700 block of Shore Boulevard just before 1 a.m. Authorities received a call from a person reporting a person inside the house with a gun.
When deputies arrived they found a man dead. Authorities immediately setup a perimeter and searched the area with police dogs and a helicopter. No suspect was found.
Officials said there may have been witnesses to what happened. A woman was led away from the scene but not in handcuffs. Authorities have not said anything about a suspect.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released the name of the man killed.
