TAMPA, Fla. — The Hillsborough School District and its' Classroom Teacher's Association have reached a tentative deal on an agreement for support personnel.

Under the tentative agreement, Educational Support Personnel will receive a “one level” increase and a 2 percent cost of living adjustment. This would be equivalent to approximately a 4 percent increase to their base salary.
The tentative agreement was reached at the negotiating table and must now be ratified by the members of the HCTA-ESP bargaining unit and voted on by the Hillsborough County School Board.
These employees will continue to receive other benefits including:
- Reduced child care costs through the HOST before- and after-school program.
- Zero premium employee-only health insurance plan paid for by the school district.
HCTA represents approximately 4,500 educational support personnel. The negotiations will continue for teachers.
