ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Sarasota-Bradenton Airport reached 86 degrees this Friday. This ties the old record set in 1990.

Skies will be mostly clear through the overnight. Winds will stay light, so some patchy fog is possible inland.

With dew points staying low, the morning will stay cool. Lows will get to the upper 50s for Tampa Bay to around 50 for the Nature Coast.

High pressure settles in Saturday. Winds will be light allowing for a sea breeze. Highs will be slightly above normal in the upper 70s to around 80.

Dew points will not move up much, so the humidity stays comfortable.  Skies will be mostly sunny.

Saturday night will not be as cool. Dew points will be moving up, so lows will be in the mid 60s for Tampa Bay to mid 50s north.  Winds will be light and there may be some fog inland.

Sunday will feel warmer as dew points move up. Winds will be southerly to southwesterly and will increase.

Boating conditions will go downhill. Tides may run higher than astronomical predictions.

Skies will be partly cloudy. A line of showers will approach from the northwest later in the day, so most of the day will be dry, but in the very late afternoon, the showers may close in on Citrus County.

The line will move south through the evening and overnight, but without deep moisture, don’t expect significant rainfall.

The rain will end early on Monday morning as the next cold front will arrives. Temperatures will drop through the day on Monday.  High temperatures will hit early in the morning. The afternoon will be in the low 60s, and it will be breezy.

Monday night may be the chilliest of the season so far.
