POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Run-off elections are taking place Tuesday in Polk County.

Today's run-off is for the cities of Lakeland and Winter Haven. 

Lakeland voters will decide the outcome of the City Commission At-Large Seat 2 race between Chad McLeod and Carole Philipson.  

Winter Haven voters will choose between Tracy Mercer and William Twyford to decide the winner for City Commissioner, Seat 1.

Registered voters who have moved or had a name change are encouraged to update their record with the Elections Office before the December 3rd Run-Off Elections.

Polls close at 7 p.m.
