ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — As forecast, the front was weakening as it moved through the Tampa Bay region.

Temperatures dropped behind it, but will level out in a seasonable range, so think of this front as basically just getting our numbers back down to our typical range.

The morning will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and slightly cooler with lows in the 50s from I-4 north and 60s to the south.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of a shower.  Highs will be in the 70s.

Friday will feature mostly cloudy skies with some scattered showers likely late in the day going into Friday night.  Highs will again be in the 70s.

The next front will pass Saturday morning with a batch of showers, followed by drier, slightly cooler air for the rest of the weekend.
