ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A few showers will continue to be possible through the overnight. Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy.

Lows will drop only to the upper 60s north, while the Tampa Bay area stays around 70.

The next front will move in on Monday afternoon.  Scattered showers will be possible ahead of the front. It will be breezy with south winds eventually turning northwesterly by later in the day. 

Rain chances will drop off starting Tuesday.  Winds will be out of the north and dew points will drop.  Lows will be near 50 north to upper 50s in Tampa in the morning. Highs will only be near 70. Skies will be mostly sunny.

New Year’s Eve will be cooler.  Late evening temperatures will be in the upper 50s for Tampa Bay to near 50 for the Nature Coast.

New Year’s Day will be cool with low humidity and light north winds. High temperatures will be below normal, staying in the 60s to near 70.  It will be mostly sunny.
