TAMPA, Fla. — Low pressure will develop in the Gulf of Mexico overnight, so clouds will continue to increase and a few sprinkles will be possible later tonight.

Temperatures may drop off quickly at first, but it will be warmer Monday morning compared to Sunday morning.

Throughout Monday, the low will move by just to our south, so showers will be possible through Monday, but no significant rain is expected. The atmosphere in the mid and upper levels will stay rather dry. It will be mostly cloudy, though.

As low pressure moves away, the rain chances will end Monday evening to Monday night. Clouds will decrease, and lows will still be mainly in the 50s.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures topping out near normal. It will be mostly sunny with a breeze out of the northeast.

On Wednesday, highs will be near normal. Skies will be partly sunny with an northeast then northwest wind.

A few showers will be possible, especially later in the day as another weak area of low pressure is likely to form in the gulf.

Thursday will be back to mostly sunny. A weak front will move through early in the morning following that low, so high temperatures will drop, but only a few degrees though.

Friday afternoon and possibly Saturday will bring a decent chance for rain. A cold front will follow.

Next Sunday looks to be dry with highs in the mid 60s.
