TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police are searching for a gunman in a fatal shooting.

The shooting happened just before 7:30pm Tuesday night on Nebraska Avenue near Floribraska Avenue.
Tampa Police have not identified the man killed and at this point don’t have any leads into who the shooter was.
A witness reported seeing the suspect wearing a hoodie, shooting the man dead alongside the road then leaving the scene.
Police have not said if they believe the shooting was a random or targeted attack and they haven’t said if surveillance cameras at nearby businesses caught anything that happened.
Police shutdown Nebraska Ave between Hugh Street and Floribraska Ave. for hours as they investigated.
The road reopened overnight.
