ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A cold front will move through overnight. A few showers will be possible along and just behind the front. No significant rain is expected.

Before daybreak, winds will switch to northerly. Wind speeds will increase and cooler and drier air will start moving in.

Low temperatures will likely hit a little after daybreak. Skies will be cloudy to start. A few showers may linger south and east of Tampa Bay briefly before moving away.

Lows will be near 60 south of Tampa to mid 50s around Tampa Bay to upper 40s north.

On Friday, winds will be out of the north to north-northeast. Cooler and less humid air will continue to move in through the day, so temperatures will not move up much.

Highs will be in the low 60s for Tampa to mid 50s for the Nature Coast.  It will be windy, so it will feel cooler. Clouds will start decreasing in the afternoon.

Friday night will be even cooler. Lows will be in the upper 30s north of Tampa to low 40s for Tampa Bay.

Saturday will be sunny and still on the cool side. Highs will be in the upper 60s. It will still be breezy.

Sunday will have lighter winds and will warm into the lower 70s.

High temperatures will move into the upper 70s into mid week. The next cold front will move in Tuesday to Wednesday bringing a chance of showers.
