PASCO COUNTY, Fla. -- Closings, cancellations, empty store shelves -- that's all part of our new normal. And one Pasco County woman is trying to make life a little easier for one of the most at-risk groups.

The end of the workday is only the beginning for Rosemarie Bruckner.

"I do it every day, Monday through Friday," Bruckner said.

After putting a full day in at the Pasco County Public Transportation offices, it's time for her next stop.

Bruckner heads to the grocery story, armed with lists, then drives her car loaded with groceries to the Landings of Saint Andrew.

For more than a week, Bruckner has been shopping for senior residents at Saint Andrews.

One residents that's especially close to Bruckner said her help is much appreciated.

"They're so grateful because a lot of them don't drive anymore, and a lot are handicapped with their walkers, so they really can't get out unless somebody goes to the store for them," Bruckner's mother Rosemary Perri said.

Bruckner said she'll keep up her shopping trips as long as stores are open and the complex lets her make her special deliveries.

However, one challenge she's running into is stores putting limits on certain everyday items. So she's enlisted the help of a co-worker to make it easier to pick up the items seniors need.
