ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney’s theme parks are closed for the time being, but the company is finding ways to bring the parks to fans stuck at home.

  • Disney app adds new features for parks fans to enjoy
  • Recipes, drawing lessons and more are available
  • Disney World has been closed since mid-March

New features have been added to the My Disney Experience app, including highlights from shows and parades, PhotoPass wallpapers and recipes inspired by foods from the parks. Dole Whip, anyone?

There are also in-app activities that teach you how to draw Disney characters like Mickey Mouse.

Other features like games, videos and fun facts will be added in the coming weeks, according to Disney.

Previously, Disney has offered its free “Imagineering in Box” course for budding Imagineers in need of something to do.

Disney World remains closed until further notice because of the coronavirus pandemic.
