  • The convention will now take place in June
  • Organizers have been working to reconfirm celebrity guests for the new dates

The convention, which was initially set for April 16-19, had to be rescheduled for June because of the coronavirus pandemic.

With the reshuffling, organizers have been working to reconfirm a number of celebrity guests who were originally set to appear. And now, the lineup has really taken shape, with many guests from before and some new additions.

So far, the event’s confirmed guests include Christoper Eccleston (Doctor Who), Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Adam Savage (Mythbusters), Christina Ricci, Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Levar Burton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), and Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid).

The cast of It—Wyatt Oleff, Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Martell, Jackson Robert Scott, Jack Dylan Grazer and Chosen Jacobs—are also set to appear.

However, some guests from the event’s previous list haven’t been confirmed for June. Those guests include the cast of Saved by the Bell, the cast of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the cast of The Office.

MegaCon also features cosplay competitions, workshops, panels and more.

The event will take place at the Orange County Convention Center, which is currently being used as a drive-thru COVID-19 testing site.
