DADE CITY, Fla. - Investigators are trying to figure out what led a 79-year-old woman to crash her minivan through a liquor store.

It happened Saturday afternoon at the Publix Liquor Store off of U.S. 301 in Dade City.

Police say the driver jumped the curb, went through the plate glass window and continued, coming to a stop about 28 feet inside the store.

"I can’t believe it went all the way to the back and nobody was really injured or dead," said witness Sam Fustaino.

An employee and a shopper were treated for non life-threatening injuries. The driver was also taken to the hospital.

Authorities have not said what condition she is in.
