“We are just so excited,” says Chris Massaro, ZooTampa General Curator.

Starting today, the zoo will open at a 50 percent capacity.

To follow CDC guidelines, there will be mandatory temperature checks before entering the park.

No guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be allowed inside.

“We want to make sure everyone is safe,” says Massaro.

There will be sanitizing stations throughout the park, and social distancing stickers to ensure everyone remains a safe distance.

“We’ll be out cleaning and sanitizing everything throughout the day,” he says.
