PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Three sisters are doing their part this holiday season by giving back to those less fortunate.

What You Need To Know

  • 3 Pasco sisters are helping feed families this holiday season

  • Each food bag can feed at least 8 people

  • Sisters have made 280 bags

  • Rotary clubs are encouraged to match their amount

One by one, Jocelyn, Katelyn and Madelyn fill bags donated by Pasco Kids First. Each bag is equipped with everything a family needs to make a healthy taco chicken soup.

Their grandmother, Tish Kunath said “It was very handy that they were able to give these bags out which are much nicer for the families.”

“My grandma found this recipe for taco chicken soup and it was really easy. All you really had to do was open the cans and read the recipe,” Katlyn, the oldest, said.

That’s how the idea started, trying the soup, sharing the simple idea and donating the recipe.

“For hungry families that need a little help during the pandemic, it’s delicious and nutritious, only cost $12 per bag,” Katlyn added.

One of the bags can feed at least eight people.

The girls are making 280 of them and they are challenging other rotary clubs to match their donation.

“I’m in Trinity Rotary. I know that they already have donations and they are already planning on December 8 to do packaging and try to match our challenge,” Kunath added.

The goal is to feed as many as they possibly can.

The trio of sisters are accepting more donations at Rotary Club of Trinity or Pasco Kids First.
