TAMPA, Fla. — It is a chance to own a piece of Tampa’s own art history. USF Graphicstudio has been putting artists and printmakers together since 1968.

What You Need To Know

  • USF Graphicstudio is where renowned artists and master printmakers come together

  • USF Graphicstudio is offering printing demonstrations

“To be a printmaker and to be able to be in this environment is quite special,” said Tim Baker, master printmaker USF Graphicstudio.

“It is an experiment in art and education,” explained director Margaret Miller.

The studio is offering printing demonstrations in honor of its upcoming benefit sale from Monday, Oct. 4, to Friday, Oct. 9.

Baker is one of the master printmakers you might meet.

For 30 years, he has been a part of USF Graphicstudio, where renowned artists and master printmakers collaborate to create new works.

As USF Graphicstudio approaches its annual fundraiser, everything on the walls is for sale. And Baker has had his hand on many of them.

“Working with the artists and getting approval on work and being able to achieve what they want and then producing the finished edition is very satisfying,” said Baker.

It is hard work to sell to keep the collaborations going.
