TAMPA, Fla. — Hillsborough County has opened a one-stop shop for COVID-19 testing, vaccinations and antibody treatments in Tampa.

The site is at the West Tampa Community Center, 2103 N. Rome Avenue and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

What You Need To Know

With more holiday gatherings, shopping, events, travel and the new Omicron variant now in the US, Hillsborough County says it is prepared to keep the site open through the month of December if it is needed.

"What we looked at is maintaining one site open at least through December because we knew there was going to be travel going on for the holidays that would be able to serve all three functions, testing vaccination and monoclonal treatment," said Iñaki Rezola with Hillsborough County Emergency Management.

The site on Rome Avenue has been seeing roughly 150 to 300 people per day since it opened last weekend.

Appointments are not needed and neither is health insurance, but the county says if you have insurance to bring your card along.

Hillsborough County has not seen a spike in cases since the long Thanksgiving weekend, however virus numbers usually lag 2 weeks behind large scale events like holiday travel.
