TAMPA, Fla. — And on the third day, Tom Brady talked.

After the Bucs wrapped up their three-day mini camp, Brady addressed the Tampa Bay media for the first time since his team’s season ending loss to the Rams in January.

Since then, Brady retired, un-retired, and then got stirred up in the rumor mill and nearly broke the internet with a video modeling his Brady Brand underwear.

So there was a lot of ground to cover. For instance, what about those rumors of discourse between the GOAT and former head coach Bruce Arians?

“I have great respect for him and he knows how I feel about him,” Brady said. “That’s the most important thing. And I know how he feels about me.”

And what about the rumor he was leaving the Bucs for the Miami Dolphins?

“I had a lot of conversations with a lot of people,” he said. “As I have for the last three or four years in my career about different opportunities when I’m done playing football.”

But for the most part, Brady steered the conversation towards his recommitment to the game and to the Bucs.

“For me, the most important thing is where I’m at now and what I hope to do for this team,” Brady said.

In some ways, it’s like Brady never left. At the Bucs charity event on Wednesday, he was right in the middle of all the action.

But for the 40 days he was retired, Brady was ready to give up the sport he has dominated for more than two decades. Turns out he wasn’t ready, and now he’s all in for the upcoming season.

“I’m happy I’m back,” he said. “Happy I’m back with my teammates. It’s going to be a great year. Gonna work really hard. You know, we have high expectations for what we’re trying to accomplish.

“You know, I’m most excited about this team and what we can try to accomplish.”
