HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The 38-year-old woman missing since a shooting earlier this week at the Bradenton Tropicana processing plant has been found safe.

According to Bradenton Police, Elecia Nicole Bing was found safe in Tampa Wednesday night.

Bing went missing Monday when she was last seen leaving the plant with her co-worker, Demetrius Tyrone Bell. On Monday night, Bell, 50, entered the plant after his scheduled shift and shot a male co-worker.

The victim who was shot remains hospitalized.

When Bell fled the scene, he took Bing with him. Detectives say Bing did not leave with Bell willingly. She was released by Bell at approximately 10 p.m. Monday, uninjured.

Bing is not facing any charges.

Detectives continue to look for Bell, who is considered armed and dangerous. Two additional warrants have been filed for Bell, armed kidnapping, and aggravated assault with a firearm.

Warrants were previously filed for aggravated battery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
