Presented by D23 (Disney’s official fan club), the event will take place Aug. 23-25, 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The convention is a celebration of all things Disney — including Marvel, Lucasfilm and Star Wars — and offers fans a glimpse at what’s to come from Disney’s theme parks, movies, TV shows and merchandise.

The weekend-long event will include more than 50 shows, presentations and panels.

In the past, Disney has shared exclusive footage from its slate of upcoming movies, including “Captain America: Civil War,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” “Incredibles 2” and “Avengers: Infinity War.”

In 2017, the company shared new details about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Star Wars-themed land set to open at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Disney also announced a slew of upcoming attractions coming to its theme parks around the world, including a Guardians of the Galaxy coaster at Epcot, a Tron attraction at Magic Kingdom and a Marvel expansion at Disney California Adventure.

D23 Expo 2019 will also feature the Disney Legends Ceremony, which honors people who have contributed to the legacy of Disney. Past inductees include Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey, Stan Lee and Carrie Fisher.

Other highlights include a new exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives, a daily parade, a costume contest and a massive show floor with interactive experiences and expo-exclusive collectibles.

Tickets for D23 Expo 2019 are set to go on sale Aug. 23, 2018 at D23Expo.com. Special pricing, including an early-bird discount, will be available to D23 Gold Members. Prices will be announced later this summer, according to Disney.
