Downtown Orlando is about to snap back to its Halloween heyday, but for one night only. This weekend, we're On The Town with an early look inside a Church Street landmark.

  1. Orlando's “famous” Halloween costume party returns. After 20 years, "A Nightmare on Church Street" comes back to life in Downtown's Historic Cheyenne Saloon.

  2. Aline Fenelon-Johnson is a volunteer and decorator for the event, which she calls a party with a purpose. Local kids fighting cancer and the Base Camp Children's Cancer Foundation get a chunk of the proceeds. “When you give back, it's good to the soul.”

  3. Back in 1982, the Cheyenne Saloon opened. It was tailor-made for country music. For decades, it has been sitting empty, only used for special events when rented out.

  4. A Nightmare on Church Street is a one night-only costume party with all-inclusive food, drinks and tastings from notable Orlando restaurants and bars. Guests can dance to live music from DJ Chino and the Rock Band Nfusion. The Halloween costume contest promises “big cash prizes from several categories.”

  5. A Nightmare on Church Street is on Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. It's $95.00 General Admission ($150 day of).
