Trying to recreate some of the same magic for Berkeley, the Bucs came up short in a 6-1 Class 4A semifinal loss to Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian.

Calvary got some hits early on, but no runs to show for it until the top of the third when a pair of singles scored three runs for the Eagles.
Calvary loaded the bases in the top of the seventh with two outs and Berkeley made a pitching change. Marcus Ayers came in for senior Casey Keller, who got a hug from Coach Warren. The Eagles tacked on two more runs.
While Calvary was putting on a hit show, Berkeley's bats struggled, thanks to Christian Scott. The University of Florida commit pitched a no-hitter until the bottom of the seventh when Jakob Hines broke it up with a single to left field.
It was rally time for the Bucs. Michael Hill broke up the shutout with an RBI single to right field. But the Eagles end the rally with a double play.
