Calvary Christian extended their win streak to 29 straight with a 7-1 win over American Heritage in the state semifinals.

The Warriors didn't waste any time getting on the board. Bases loaded, two outs, Cavan Ingram got things started with a two-run single to left field.

Not to be outdone by the offense, the Warriors defense shined as well, ending the second inning with a double play

In the bottom of the third, American Heritage was threatening to cut into that lead, but catcher Matheu Nelson came up with another great defensive play with a tag out at home.

Top of the fourth with the Warriors clinging to a 2-1 lead, when Eric Kennedy gave them some breathing room with an RBI single. USF commit Graham Hoffman allowed Calvary Christian to exhale even further with his RBI single to left to make it 4-1.

The Warriors add to their lead in the sixth thanks to Justin Bench's triple to deep right. Then back-to-back throwing errors by American Heritage brought two more Calvary Christian runs across the plate.
