District foes met in Largo as the Osceola Warriors (3-0) swept the Largo Packers (1-5) at Largo High School.

Osceola won the sets 25-20, 25-22 and opened up in the third with a 25-14 win.

The Warriors were led to victory by Abby Ness, their 2016 leader in kills and the Spectrum Sports Player of the Game Kalli Cors. Cors, a sophomore and the current Warriors leader in kills, was dominant at all positions on the floor throughout.

The Packers were more than prepared for the district matchup. The sophomore duo of Brook Brown and Alexa Albinson kept Largo competitive. Head Coach Amy Clark showed her school spirit by donning a new article of clothing each time the Packers scored a point.

Largo's youth on the back row combined with Osceola's attack at the net controlled the match.

With the loss the Packers fall to 1-5 on the season.

Osceola advances to 3-0 on the season as the Warriors look to make a return to the playoffs for the second straight year under Head Coach Kacee Crumpacker.
With imminent adjustments across the state due to Hurricane Irma, upcoming schedules for both teams are subject to change.
