The Tampa Bay Rowdies are expected to announce the hiring of a new coach Friday.

Rowdies Chairman & CEO Bill Edwards and head coach Stuart Campbell said Thursday that they mutually decided to part ways, with Campbell stepping down immediately.

Campbell was in his third year as the Rowdies head coach.

The club has lost their last three league games, not including Wednesday night’s loss to Jacksonville Armada in the U.S. Open Cup. The Rowdies are currently in 7th place in the USL Eastern Conference with a 4-5 record.

There was no further announcement on a future head coach at this time.

The Rowdies next home game is this Saturday against Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Kickoff is at 7:30PM at Al Lang Stadium.
